Movies, Murder and Money

Hello Girlies,

Missed me? It was a difficult day yesterday for me personally.
I am currently going through a difficult phase in my professional life. Recently, completed my master's in marketing. Yet, I am jobless since Sep'23! How ironic is that?!?

An engineer with a work experience of a decade with a masters in hand is JOBLESS.

So, to tackle my lonely life I joined a book club which lead to a movie club. It is something interesting to witness these Gen-Z tackle books and movies in the world of social media. Their curiosity and enthusiasm to understand the real world is quiet fascinating.

Another problem I am facing is obviously MONEY. I am getting some support from my family but it is embarrassing, to say the least. Going out is an emotional and financial task of monumental proportions. Don’t ask *sigh*

Next important point is the life of a woman in India. Our country celebrated independence from British oppressors yesterday. 78 long years to improve the life of its citizens and yet women are still getting murdered just for existing. The thought process of a male that a female has the AUDACITY of existing in this society is truly mind boggling. God forbid if we have thoughts, opinions, voice, education, money! This is from Tier 1 cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, even Mumbai. Forget about the hinterlands where panchayats are basically rulers. 

It undeniably makes us rage, rage and rage more. To no avail obviously. Everyone goes through their life as usual. The politicians keep politicking, the babus keep corrupting and the mango people keep getting crushed in all this!

Oh well such is life till then... Ciao
